astrology
You are made of stardust: astrology as a path to self-acceptance.
With astrology, I began as many people do, interested in my own natal chart and “figuring myself out.” I’ll never forget having my chart read for the first time and the astrologer saying with reverence, “You’re a shamanic healer!” I don’t personally identify with shamanism, because you know, cultural appropriation, but I do deeply identify with being a guide that holds space for others’ healing. Over the years, my personal interest in astrology has grown and I embrace astrology as a powerful tool for helping others know themselves better as well as relate to others and to what is happening collectively.
As part of my somatic sessions, I request your natal chart to get a fuller snapshot of what makes you, you. It is not required, but does add depth to our work together. Any reading we do will be recorded and sent to you to keep forever!
Why understanding your natal chart is helpful:
Gain insight into how you think, love, act and relate.
Get a new lens to view yourself, in relation to your relationships and the world.
Identify your strengths and where you shine.
Practice greater self-acceptance and curiosity about all of your facets.
Deepen your knowledge of astrology, using yourself as the entry point.
Understand how current astrological transits affect you and work with them to supercharge your life.
my approach to astrology
I have been on a path of self-guided study of the cosmos for the past five years. Primarily, I have learned from Chani Nicholas, Jessica Lanyadoo, and Sarah Faith Gottesdiener, Colin Bedell, Kaypacha (in the early days) as well as personal friends who are astrologers, such as Kirstyn Lewis in Australia, and many conversations with fellow students of these ancient systems. I draw most from Hellenistic (whole house) and evolutionary astrology.
